Hello there! I am shaffida and I am the owner of this chatroom.. I am a great grandmother with a very large family and I live in Tennessee, USA. I have been quilting for about 12 years and sewing for a lifetime. I am retired to owning a quilt shop and doing custom picture framing. I am definitely a people person.. I like to work out of the box . I belong to two quilt guilds and like to teach both in the shop and at guilds. I can be found in #quiltz almost every morning very early <like about 5 am est> or sometimes during the day. I love chatting with others who love our craft and am not very tolerant of those who are rude to others. Looking forward to seeing you soon.

Hi everyone, Mysi here. I am known around these parts as the non-sleeper of this wonderful chat space. I have been quilting for about 11yrs and I haven't stopped yet...pedal to the metal I say!! I have a lot of quilting pictures that I love to share and sometimes if you are lucky you get to see some everyday. I do applique, piecing and anything I can get my hands on and I love to learn. I have 2 dogs, 2 big cats and the kitty from hell.
I love to quilt although I am as slow as molasses.
I am self taught and still have tons to learn but manage to do a quilt or 2

I have 2 children and 4 Chihuahuas.

Hi, my name is merrybee I am one of the moderators at
Quiltz. I love all forms of
needlework. Quilting is and has been my passion for at least
25 years.
I don't have a lot of finished work to show for all my years
of devotion
to the craft. What I do have is a healthy fabric stash and a
pile of UFO's that look
like a mountain. I am currently a college student. I find
this is seriously cutting into
my chatting and quilting time, but it is a necessary evil.
